PORSCHE & GIT, the passion.

GIT has been involved in motor sport since 2006. As with any company that makes a financial commitment to the sport, it was our manager's passion that led him to get involved, and he immediately realized that the sport was a promising one for his business!
Over the last few years, several crews have benefited from a little help from GIT, but it's the company-branded Porsches that, after 18 years, have become well known and recognized thanks to the results they have achieved. Year after year, GIT Porsches have carved out a place for themselves in the landscape of asphalt and gravel VHC rallies: visibility with a national and international target audience, relayed by the blog of our driver Frank Servais. For more than 15 years, GIT Porsches have been making their mark in elite rallies such as Tour de Corse Historique, Maroc Historique, Sardaigne Historique, Boucles de Spa, Boucles de Bastogne, Neige et Glaces, Drôme Paul Friedman, Mont-Blanc Historique...
Today, GIT is well known in the Swiss motor sport community, among Swiss Porsche Clubs, and since 2007 in various other countries, providing the opportunity to meet leaders from France, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Great Britain, the Netherlands and Luxembourg.

La Patrouille des glaciers (CEO)

The Patrouille des Glaciers (PDG) is an international ski-mountaineering race organized every two years by the Swiss army, open to teams of three military or civilian personnel: patrols. It takes place on the Alpine ridges south of the canton of Valais, at the end of April. There are two courses: the Zermatt - Arolla - Verbier course is 53 kilometers long (courses Z1 and Z2), equivalent to 110 km/effort (known as the "grande patrouille"). The Arolla - Verbier route is 27 kilometers (races A1 and A2), equivalent to 53 km/effort (known as the "small patrol").
Each patrol is made up of 3 members who, to be eligible to take part in the race, must be regular hikers and mountain runners, very good skiers, able to ski "roped up" and capable under normal conditions of completing the section from Arolla to Verbier in 8 h 30.

GIT and cycling (Club de Lancy)

For many years, GIT has supported Vélo-Club Lancy, a Geneva-based cycling club that has enabled young riders such as Henry Lawton to reach the highest level in this magnificent and demanding sport. He is currently a rider on the Morbihan Adris team from Brittany, and is one of the best elite riders in France (the gateway to professionalism). Not to be outdone by the club's female members, Vélo-Club Lancy's two spearheads, Elise Chabbey and Celine Van Till, took part in the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
